Part time Delivery Driver Wanted!
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, conscientious and proactive delivery driver on a part time basis (22.5 hours / 3 days per week), to add to our friendly, close knit team. The role will involve distributing our beer directly throughout the Sheffield area and beyond.
A full, clean driving licence is essential. We are looking for someone with at least three years of driving experience, preferably including driving a 3.5T vehicle or larger. Experience in a similar or related role, ideally in the beer industry, is essential, although full training on our systems will be provided.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is reliable and responsible, with excellent time management skills and good attention to detail. As one of the faces our customers will see the most, a commitment to providing top notch levels of customer service and embodying the values of our business is imperative. A good level of physical fitness is also required as the role involves handling weights up to 50kg including lifting full casks and kegs.
Responsibilities will include delivery of beer and associated items, customer liaison, accurate record keeping, and other duties as required to keep the brewery running smoothly. A level of pub cellar experience, knowledge of beer styles and enthusiasm for craft beer would be of significant benefit.
Usual working hours are 22.5 per week – ideally Wednesday-Friday, subject to discussion and in line with the needs of both the business and the successful candidate. Some of our delivery runs require a longer working day (these are balanced by some which are shorter!), and evening and weekend work may also be requested at times. Salary is dependent on experience, but will start from a FTE of around ÂŁ26k (pro-rata).
