The Funk Dungeon mixed fermentation project evolved from our love of all things sour, bretted and barrel aged! Curated by our Lead Brewer, Jim Rangeley, each small batch release is careful selected and blended to create a complex, unique beer, meant for savouring.
This beer is made up of two batches of barrel fermented wort from 2020 and 2021. Both batches were fermented on local blackberries, blackcurrants and gooseberries, before blending and bottling.
The resulting beer is light and refreshing with a soft fruit acidity accompanied with a soft oak character and a gentle spritz
