We love beer in all forms and are always keen to experiment with new recipes and ideas.  We’re very proud to have a production team with a wide range of tastes and experiences, so we created the Brewers Emporium as a way of presenting this creativity. Here we embrace the latest in beer trends, drawing inspiration from the new ideas in craft beer scenes around the globe. Expect also rare historical styles, mixed fermentation beers from our much acclaimed Funk Dungeon programme, and, in classic Abbeydale style, a few completely new creations!

Blood Orange & Nettle Sour 5.0% From the Funk Dungeon Barrel aged beer from our mixed fermentation project, infused with the flesh of blood oranges donated by our friends at Locksley Distilling - leftover from the production of their beautiful Morocello liqueur. Full bodied with just a tickle of brettanomyces, a bold and vibrantly zesty character which bursts from the glass, and a balanced finish thanks to the gentle earthiness brought from locally foraged nettles.

Golden Peaks 6.2% UK Mountain IPA

Golden Peaks 6.2% UK Mountain IPA Collaboration with our local pals, Triple Point Brewery! This beer is our collective love letter to UK hops. New kids of the crop Harlequin and Olicana bring a vibrant tropical flavour, which melds with the classic orange and hedgerow character from Admiral and East Kent Goldings. Oats and Vienna malt give a tasty, biscuity background for this gorgeous homegrown hop combo to shine.

Unbeliever % We Believe!

Unbeliever % We Believe! Our Unbeliever series covers all things sour, from subtly tart to face scrunching & lip-smacking! We've dropped the pH and gone for an accessible ABV, but ramped up the flavour with a variety of carefully chosen fruits, herbs and spices. Expect styles from Guava Gose to Black Berliner Weisse and anything in-between. Available whenever a new idea takes our fancy, in can and keg. To give your customers something unusual we can also put into cask as a pre-order.

Funk Dungeon % Mind your head!

Funk Dungeon % Mind your head! Our much acclaimed mixed fermentation project was established in 2018, led by our brewer Jim Rangeley. The beers released within this range are aged and often soured in barrel to produce unique and experimental nano-batch brews. We use mainly neutral barrel stock but also carry Rum, Wine, Whisky and Bourbon barrels, and the interaction between beer, wood, and time is something which is of huge interest to us, alongside the development of our own �house� cultures. This allows us to release an eclectic and exciting selection of beers, highlighting healthy fermentation and great flavour.� These beers take months rather than weeks to be ready and due to the way they evolve can never be re-created. �The most special of these are released in Chapters, featuring some very special can artwork.

Deliverance % DIPA's Our Deliverance Double IPA series uses different hop varieties in combinations carefully selected by our talented team of brewers. We give them free reign on the hop store and they bring you some of the heaviest hopped beer we've ever produced. Integrating the use of new techniques such as Cryo-hopping, as well as working with hop suppliers including Yakima Chief to get our hands on a selection of exciting experimental hops too. Always in keg and can, as suits the beer style, but we also do limited releases in cask by special request.

Lost Souls % Imperial Stouts We've given our brewers free reign to brew the Russian Imperial Stouts they want, no holds barred. They're always up to the challenge and have created some incredible vintage beer, which due to its strength will age well over time. Released annually in keg, can, and very limited cask.
