Description
Light and refreshing NZ Pale Ale, showcasing incredible Nelson Sauvin hops famed for delicious citrus flavours with hints of gooseberry and white grape. Primarily hopped with Nelson, balanced by the addition of other hops including Amarillo, Chinook, Galaxy and Columbus giving a crisp bitter finish.
The story of Deception starts back in 2008, when we were trialling some new hops in a series of specials. Friend of the brewery Stuart Noble wouldn’t stop talking about a new hop from New Zealand, Nelson Sauvin, a hop that supposedly brought with it flavours of Sauvignon Blanc, and so we thought we’d give it a go. Our hop suppliers, Charles Faram, also knew how much our brewery owner Pat loved experimenting with new varieties and so were happy to help us get our gauntlet gloves on some. We brewed one full brew length of it, sold out of it within weeks and promptly had to brew it again!

A note about Mini-casks: Due to the way we fill the mini-casks, and the fact they have only very light, natural carbonation from the secondary fermentation (as would happen in the pub cellar), they will pour relatively ‘flat’. It’s more like how it would be if poured direct from cask at a beer festival.
We recommend that Minikegs are consumed within 4 days of opening them, and kept between 8 and 12 degrees for optimum condition.
Minikegs have a shelf life of between 2 and 6 weeks at time of delivery/ collection.
Minikegs contain 5L of beer, which is 8.79 UK Pints.
All packaging materials are recyclable.

DELIVERY INFO
All orders are packaged within 24 hours Monday to Friday, and are delivered in between 1 and 4 days. Please be aware that we cannot offer weekend delivery, and orders made after 12pm on Thursday will be sent the following Monday in order to avoid them spending multiple days in transit.
