Pilgrim is BACK!

TIS THE SEASON! Our most hotly anticipated annual release is soon to be on the way… it’s (almost) Pilgrim time, and this year, it’s brought an all new pumpkin spiced pal along!

Our pumpkin spiced pale ale has become, dare we say it, a bit of a Halloween icon that heralds the arrival of spooky season across the beery land. First released in 2017, our Pilgrim was originally inspired by a trip to America, where we came back with a secret recipe provided by friend of the brewery and World Beer Cup award winning brewer Dan Rogers. We knew we were taking a bit of a risk that first time Pilgrim was unleashed upon our drinkers, with pumpkin spiced everything not having quite the pull over here as it did on the other side of the Atlantic, but it immediately found its niche, and we couldn’t imagine our autumn without it!

…AND THAT’S NOT ALL. This year, our intrepid little Pilgrim hasn’t been alone on its journey, and has brought along an even more EXTRA friend! Introducing MARSHMALLOW PILGRIM, a Pumpkin Pie stout that’s bringing a little bit of the dark side to this Halloween. Featuring the same lip-smacking blend of warming pumpkin pie spices as the OG Pilgrim and also coming in at 5.0% ABV, but with roasted malts for extra cosy campfire vibes and additions of sweet vanilla and fluffy marshmallow that’s sure to have you coming back for s’more…

Last year Pilgrim sold out in record time, so this year, along with adding a new squash sibling to the family, we’ve upped the brewlength and will have more Pilgrim available than ever before. The stack of cans is ready and waiting and somewhat terrifying our packaging team, so come canning day literally everyone in the building is going to be doing a shift on the line! GOOD GOURD!

We’ve already been inundated with queries, and we’re happy to say that pre-orders are now available! Trade customers can contact our sales team now to reserve cask, keg or can of either or both of year’s Pilgrim releases for their venue, and cans are available to pre-order NOW on our online shop, with expected shipping in all formats at the start of October. Plus, we’ve got Pilgrim tees and even Pilgrim inspired pumpkin spiced vodka available, distilled for us by The Sheffield Distillery Co. It makes an absolutely fantastic White Russian!
