Brewery History Tour – Saturday December 19th

Join us for a chance to see behind the scenes as we wrap up our 30th year – with our new tours focused on the history and culture of Sheffield’s oldest, largest Brewery.

You will learn how the beer is produced from grain to glass, tasting the malt, smelling the hops and getting a rare chance to taste a beer fresh from tank. To pair with your beers you will also get an insight into the heritage of all things Abbeydale, the story of our beers and how we went from a 2 person operation born of passion and curiosity in 1996 to a 30+ strong team who co-own the Brewery between them all.

Tours start at 12pm meeting at the front of the brewery on Aizlewood Road. They will last for around 45 minutes after which we will walk along to our Taproom (3 mins away) for a tasting flight/ pint of beer included with your ticket.

Attendees must be 18 or over.  Please be aware that our licence does not allow for the sale of alcohol for on-site consumption at the brewery, and as a working factory we cannot allow anyone who is intoxicated into the brewhouse area.  Due to the possibility of hot liquids and caustic chemicals, sensible footwear must be worn at all times, as well as full length trousers.  Please let us know of any access requirements you may have so that we can ensure you have a comfortable visit.

Please note that we don’t send out physical tickets for this event. Just bring along your order confirmation (printed or on your phone) as proof of your booking.

Cancellations Policy: Bookings can be swapped for vouchers or a refund up to 72 hours before the tour. We can also attempt to swap to other dates, however numbers are strictly limited based on our health and safety policy. After this period, we cannot offer refund, exchange, vouchers, or swapping to alternative dates.
