Abbeydale supplies over 200 pubs directly. Some take the beer regularly, others are only very occasional customers. Beer is also supplied through wholesalers and even we are surprised sometimes by where the beer shows up. So this is a very select list of where you can be sure to get at least one of our beers in Sheffield.
We have also included a real ale off-licence and a pub in the Peak where you can get four of our beers, including a special.
Abbeydale owns one pub, the Rising Sun at 471, Fulwood Road, Nethergreen, Sheffield S10 3QA. The pub has its own website. www.risingsunsheffield.co.uk. (This opens in a new window). If you just need directions or contact details click here.
The Rising Sun serves 10 real ales, 4 Abbeydale regulars and 5 guests (including Abbeydale seasonals and specials from time to time). We source our guest beers from microbreweries both locally and nationally and you will find some unusual beers there.
We also have a good selection of continental lagers and fruit beers on draught.
We have a good wine list and serve excellent house wines by the glass.
The pub is open 11-11 daily and food is served every day. For times and menus, check out the Pub's website, using the link below.
We also serve good coffee, a range of teas and hot chocolate.
For more information about the Rising Sun please visit www.risingsunsheffield.co.uk.
Archer Road Beerstop
Archer Road Beerstop is Sheffield's Real Ale Off-licence. There Dave dispenses draught real ale in a variety of containers and quantities ranging from a few pints to an entire 9 gallon cask straight from the Brewery. He deals with a number of local breweries as well as some further afield. He also stocks an excellent selection of bottled beers.
As we cannot sell directly to the public, if you want our beer for a party, then Dave is your man. He can source it in appropriate quantities, provide the necessary paraphernalia, and will advise on setting up and keeping the beer.
The Archer Road Beer Stop is celebrating 10 years in the Good Beer Guide.

The Three Stags Heads
This was our very first customer at Abbeydale Brewery. A CAMRA Heritage Pub, little changed since the 16th Century. On a cold winters day there is a roaring fire and on hot summer days it is a cool haven.
The present owners are keen potters and the pub has a pottery in the stables. Geoff and Pat sell their work which includes figures as well as a range of tableware. If you ask nicely and it is not too busy they will show you around the pottery.
The pub is only open Friday evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday and does food. Walkers are welcome as are dogs.
The pub has four Abbeydale Beers on, including Black Lurcher, named after one of the pub dogs, now sadly deceased.
