The Red Lion
Here, we would be hunted down and shot if we ever stopped making Absoultion! The Red Lion is famous for real ale and has long been a favourite for discerning beer drinkers. You can always be sure of a decent pint here. It first became a pub in 1787 when it was converted from three farm cottages. Thick exposed stone walls and a number of small, cosy rooms with blazing fires, create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Well loved by walkers and tourists.
